Submission guidelines: Industry Buzz covers all types of notable orchestral activity, including major grants, education programs, repertoire ideas, or recording projects. Stories of national or compelling interest are given priority.

ABOUT MEDIA VIEW

Media View emphasizes news and features and occasionally includes reviews, opinion pieces, and obituaries of note. Because reviews are numerous and highly specific to their local market, they are normally included only if they involve a debut, commission/premiere, or programming focus of compelling interest.

Media View is meant to accurately reflect what is being said in the media about orchestras and the issues surrounding them. Stories of national and compelling interest are given priority, and the need for brevity, balanced against the news “load” on a given day, has a role in determining what is covered.

Views and opinions referenced are those of the reporters and critics cited, and are not to be taken as the views of the League. The League takes no responsibility for the opinions, views, or reporting of writers whose articles are digested in Media View.

Submission guidelines:
If you have an article you would like to see considered for Media View, please paste the text of the article into the body of an email with a link to its online source and send it to: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it   and This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . Send the article on the day it is published if at all possible; to keep The Hub timely, we generally refrain from featuring articles that are more than three days old.
