The Pasadena Symphony Association has named LORA UNGER general manager, effective March 9. Since March of 2007 she has served as general manager of the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra. Following a year of training in the League’s Orchestra Management Fellowship Program, Unger spent four years (2003-07) in California as vice president and chief operating officer of the Modesto Symphony Association and State Theatre of Modesto. Unger holds a master’s degree in arts administration from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music and a bachelor’s in viola performance with a minor in business administration from the University of Louisville.
