In announcing plans for its 2009-10 season, Chicago’s Music of the Baroque reported this week that JANE GLOVER, its music director since 2002, has renewed her contract through the 2013-14 season. Much in demand as an orchestral and operatic conductor in the U.S., Europe, Australia, the Far East, and her native England, Glover first achieved distinction as music director of the Glyndebourne Touring Opera (1981-85) and as artistic director of the London Mozart Players (1984-91).
