The New York Chamber Virtuosi has announced details of its debut concert, which will take place at Merkin Concert Hall at The Kaufman Center in New York City on June 28. The program will include Mozart’s Symphony No. 29 and three new works by composer/clarinetist Jessica Sibelman: a violin concerto, with soloist Artur Kaganovskiy; a sinfonietta; and Alice in Wonderland, with narrator Marie Incontrera. The concert is the first in a planned series by the new orchestra, comprising three orchestra concerts, a chamber music concert, and a concert of new works by emerging New York composers. The orchestra is composed of students and graduates of music conservatories including the Juilliard School, Manhattan School of Music, and New England Conservatory.
