The San Diego Performing Arts League and the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts will present a daylong symposium for performing arts managers and volunteers in San Diego on April 27, addressing challenges of operating during the current economic environment. The symposium is part of The Arts in Crisis: A Kennedy Center Initiative, a program that provides emergency planning assistance to struggling arts and culture organizations throughout the United States. The symposium will be facilitated by Kennedy Center President Michael M. Kaiser and members of the Kennedy Center’s executive staff, and will take place at the Joe and Vi Jacobs Center from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Admission is free to arts administrators, but reservations are required.
