The Saint Louis Symphony Orchestra and the St. Louis-based television station HEC-TV have announced the live broadcast of the orchestra’s next Town Hall Meeting from the stage of Powell Hall on September 24 from 6 to 7 p.m. The meeting is free and open to the public and will include performances by members of the orchestra. SLSO Music Director David Robertson and President Fred Bronstein will discuss the orchestra’s 2009-10 programming and other important updates, taking questions from the live audience and via e-mail at HEC-TV’s website, HECTV.org. The SLSO’s most recent town hall meeting in collaboration with HEC-TV took place in February 2009. HEC-TV is programmed by a consortium of St. Louis-based colleges, universities, and school districts, which produce education, arts, and cultural shows.
