The Colorado Symphony Orchestra has announced the appointment of TRACY TAJBL as vice president of development, effective September 14. An established professional with fifteen years of experience in fund raising and nonprofit management, Tajbl worked most recently as senior director of external affairs for the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra  at Strathmore, the orchestra’s second home in North Bethesda, Maryland. Prior to that she held senior management posts at several national fund-raising consulting firms, where her clients included the Nashville Symphony, Arena Stage (Washington, D.C.), and the Nature Conservancy. The recipient of a National Award for Excellence from the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Tajbl holds a bachelor’s degree in art history from Syracuse University and has completed coursework in the Fundraising Specialist Program at George Washington University.
