The Richmond (Va.) Symphony has announced the creation of a new Advancement & Patron Communications Department through the merger of its marketing and development departments. Heading the new entity is ROB HALBRUNER, whose title was formerly director of marketing & communications. A press release from the orchestra states that the new department “is charged with a holistic approach to patron development, from single ticket buyers to subscribers, and individual donors to sponsors, through enhanced communications and customer service options.”
