ANTHONY C. BOATMAN, executive director of the Boise Philharmonic since 2000, has announced his retirement from that post, effective in July 2010. Boatman began his orchestra career in the development field, serving as director of development at the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra and with the San Antonio and Fort Worth symphony orchestras. He subsequently served as executive director of the Washington (D.C.) Chamber Symphony. The Boise Philharmonic has initiated a search for his successor.
