Colorado’s Bravo! Vail Valley Music Festival has announced that EUGENIA ZUKERMAN, artistic director since 1998, will step down from that post following the 2010 season. Zukerman has had a multi-faceted career as flutist, writer, television journalist, arts administrator, and teacher. As festival director she has helped to create residencies in Vail for the New York Philharmonic, The Philadelphia Orchestra, and the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, and during her tenure the festival audience has doubled. A search committee has been formed to select her successor.
