The Chicago Symphony Orchestra has announced the appointment of MASON BATES and ANNA CLYNE as CSO Mead Composers-in-Residence. Their terms will begin in September 2010 and extend for at least two years. Bates and Clyne will be responsible for curating the CSO’s contemporary-music series MusicNOW and acting as advocates within the Chicago community to further the understanding and appreciation of all music.
