The Charlottesville (Va.) Symphony Society has announced the appointment of JANET B. KALTENBACH as executive director of the Charlottesville & University Symphony Orchestra. She served most recently as vice president of advancement at The American Boychoir School in Princeton, N.J. Prior positions include vice president of institutional advancement, Brunswick (N.J.) Cultural Center; general manager, Saginaw (Mich.) Symphony Association; and general manager, Springfield (Ohio) Symphony Orchestra.
