RICHARD KAUFMAN will conclude his fourteen-year tenure as principal pops conductor of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra on May 29, 2010, at which time he will assume the title of pops conductor laureate. In addition to his DSO post Kaufman is principal pops conductor of the Pacific Symphony in Orange County, Calif., and he conducts the Friday Night at the Movies series of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra.
