At the Boston Symphony Orchestra, SUZANNE PAGE has been promoted to associate director for board relations. She joined the BSO in 1999 as executive assistant to the director of development. The following year Page was appointed assistant to BSO Managing Director Mark Volpe and manager of board administration. In June 2000 she was elected clerk of the board, and has served as a corporate officer since that time. A graduate of the University of Massachusetts-Lowell, Page completed graduate studies at Boston’s New England Conservatory and at the American Institute of Musical Studies in Graz, Austria. She pursued postgraduate studies in business at Harvard University. Prior to joining the BSO she worked in public relations at Hill and Knowlton, and had earlier served as assistant to the CEO at New York Hospital. She has also performed professionally as a coloratura soprano.
