REBEKAH LAMBERT has been named senior consultant in the Portland (Ore.) office of Arts Consulting Group Inc. She worked most recently as an executive for a large human services agency, and was a Peace Corps volunteer in Albania from 2003 to 2005. Lambert brings to ACG more than eighteen years of arts management experience, including seven years (1996-2003) as executive director of the Eugene (Ore.) Symphony Orchestra. She had earlier served as executive director of the Symphony of Southeast Texas; as operations manager and then orchestra manager of the Honolulu Symphony Orchestra; and in management positions with the Los Angeles Philharmonic and L.A.’s Young Musicians Foundation. Lambert is a 1989 alumna of the Orchestra Management Fellowship Program of the League of American Orchestras, and has served on the OMFP faculty as well as on the League’s Board of Directors. She holds a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of California-Santa Barbara and an MBA from the School of Organization and Management at Yale University.
