IMG Artists and Koelnmesse, a German trade fair organizer, have announced LIVE! Singapore, a global performing arts trade fair set to take place in Singapore in 2010. LIVE! Singapore will be held from June 8 to 11, 2010 at Resorts World Sentosa in Singapore. It is being held in conjunction with the Singapore Arts Festival (May 14 to June 13, 2010), and will offer a trade fair, a conference, and live performances. The trade fair will offer a forum for arts presenters in areas including theater, music, dance, acrobatics, puppetry, illusionists, musicals, pyrotechnics, and folk art. LIVE! aims to be an annual event, with a chosen theme for each year; the debut theme is music, exploring core issues facing classical music, orchestras, opera companies, fusion music, world music, music theater, jazz, the Asian music scene, and the role of music in art forms such as dance. LIVE! Singapore is organized by Koelnmesse Pte Ltd, in association with IMG Artists and in partnership with the Singapore Tourism Board, Economic Development Board and the National Arts Council of Singapore.
