JAMES BONKOVSKY has been named director of development at the New York Pops. His arts experience includes posts at several New York City institutions including Carnegie Hall, Dance New Amsterdam, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Whitney Museum of American Art, and Fordham University. Bonkovsky has also managed his own fund-raising and marketing consulting business, serving such clients as Da Capo Chamber Players, Center for Contemporary Opera, Gotham Chamber Opera, and the New York State Council on the Arts. He holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Ohio University and an MBA from Fordham University.
