Monday’s (1/25) Milwaukee Business Journal reports, “The Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra said Monday that it has promoted Mary Robyn Peotter, a certified public accountant and graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, from controller to vice president and chief financial officer. Peotter succeeds Amy Jensen, who left the MSO to become managing director of the Skylight Opera Theatre in October 2009. Her primary responsibility is the management and strategic direction of the orchestra’s fiscal affairs. Milwaukee Symphony president and executive director Mark Hanson said Peotter has been serving interim CFO since Jensen’s departure. … As the MSO’s controller from March 2005 to October 2009, Peotter worked very closely with the MSO’s last two CFOs and the rest of the finance team, as well as the finance, audit and endowment board committees.”
