The Paducah Symphony in western Kentucky is seeking applications for local and regional performing artists for the 2010 Lowertown Arts & Music Festival, which will take place in Paducah’s Lowertown neighborhood from May 21 to 23. In previous years the City of Paducah has been the promoter and organizer of the festival; this year the festival is being organized and promoted by the Lowertown Neighborhood Association and the artists themselves. Performing artists of all types and genres who live within approximately 200 miles of Paducah may apply to appear at the festival. The deadline for applications is March 23.
