The Knights, a New York City-based orchestra dedicated to diverse programming and non-traditional concert formats, has appointed VANESSA ROSE-PRIDEMORE managing director. She worked most recently in the Development Department of the Metropolitan Opera, where she was associate director for patron program and membership. Prior to the Met she served on the development staff of the League of American Orchestras. Other administrative experience includes positions with the Paul Taylor Dance Company and the String Orchestra of New York. A 2006 graduate of the League’s Orchestra Management Fellowship Program, Rose-Pridemore has also worked as a freelance violinist. She holds degrees from the Eastman School of Music and Mannes College of Music, and received a performer’s certificate from the Royal Conservatory in The Hague.
