The Elgin Symphony Orchestra in Illinois has announced that JERRY CAIN was selected as president-elect at a special session of the orchestra’s Board of Directors on March 17; he will succeed TOM ROESER as board president on July 1. A graduate of Eastern New Mexico University with a master’s degree from Baylor University’s Department of Religion, Cain has made his career in the field of higher education and is currently president of Judson University. He has been an active member of the Elgin Symphony’s board since 2006.
