The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra has introduced Musicians’ Concierge, a new initiative that will allow orchestra musicians and concertgoers to interact at a series of parties scheduled after each concert at Baltimore’s Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall through May 15. Concerts held at the Music Center at Strathmore in North Bethesda, Maryland, will feature similar gatherings during intermission of each concert. At the parties, the musicians will help potential subscribers customize their 2010-11 subscriptions based on their musical tastes. In addition, an online version of the Musicians’ Concierge will feature a questionnaire on the BSO website that patrons can fill out in order to receive an e-mail message from a BSO musician with suggestions for selecting concerts for the upcoming season.
