She served previously as an instructor, and subsequently as associate director of operations and dean of programs, at Chicago’s Merit School of Music. Eaton holds a degree in viola performance from The Juilliard School and a master’s in music history and theory from the University of Chicago. Originally from Washington, D.C., she received her undergraduate degree in French from the University of Pennsylvania.
