The Melrose (Mass.) Symphony Orchestra has announced the selection of three individuals to fulfill the duties of President and CEO MILLIE RICH, who retired on May 1 after 30 years with the organization. The new leadership will consist of JESSI EISDORFER, general manager, and two volunteers: KATHY RADLEY, president of the board, and DEBI WALSH, board treasurer. Eisdorfer is a graduate of New England Conservatory, where she studied music history and classical double bass performance with Boston Symphony Orchestra bassist James Orleans; she enjoys an active career as a freelance bassist throughout the Boston area. Radley has been a member of the MSO Board of Directors for fourteen years, the last twelve of which have been spent as vice president. Walsh holds a Master of Business Administration degree.
