JEAN-JÉRÔME PEYTAVI has been named executive director of the Philharmonic Orchestra of the Americas, based in New York City. He served most recently as director of new business and marketing at DCM, Inc., a consulting firm specializing in fundraising, membership development, and marketing for arts organizations and other nonprofit groups. Peytavi has also served as operations manager of the Bridgehampton (N.Y.) Chamber Music Festival and orchestra manager of the New York Youth Symphony, and is a board member of the New York City-based nonprofit organization Musicians for Harmony. He began his career as an aerospace analyst at the French firm Thales. A native of Versailles, Peytavi holds an undergraduate degree in finance from the Pôle Universitaire Léonard de Vinci in Paris, and a Master of Music Business degree from New York University.
