The Atlantic Symphony Orchestra, a professional orchestra serving Boston’s South Shore, has appointed RONALD G. VIGUE executive director, effective July 15. He goes to the ASO from Orchestra 2001 in Philadelphia, where he has spent the last four years as executive director. Prior to that he served as executive director of Boston Camerata. Vigue is also an active composer whose teachers in that discipline include Lukas Foss and Theodore Antoniou at Boston University and Betsy Jolas in Fontainebleu, France.
