A report Monday (7/5) on the Kentucky Post online (Newport) states, “You could help the Kentucky Symphony Orchestra earn a $1,000,000 grant. All you have to do is vote on Facebook, but you must act quickly. Chase Community Giving foundation is giving away $5 million on July 13 to non-profits based solely on votes. The K.S.O. could win $1,000,000 or one of 196 $20,000 grants to support Free Summer Park and education concerts. The power to give is literally in your hands.
