The Ashland Symphony Orchestra in central Ohio has announced the appointment of JARROD HARTZLER as general manager. A native of Wooster, Ohio, he has served in administrative and educational posts at Wooster’s Wayne Center for the Arts, at the Delaware County (Ohio) Cultural Arts Center, and as executive director of VSA Arts of Ohio in Columbus. In addition to his new Ashland Symphony position he will serve as managing director of the Wooster Chamber Music Series. Hartzler is a graduate of the College of Wooster, and has also participated in several educational programs of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C.
