The Florida Orchestra, based in St. Petersburg, has announced the appointment of NANCY HEADLEE as personnel manager, effective in October. She goes to Florida from Hawaii, where she had served since 2005 as violist and personnel manager of the Honolulu Symphony and was a member of the string faculty at Punahou Music School. Headlee holds a bachelor’s degree in music performance from the University of Iowa, with graduate studies at the Peabody Conservatory of Johns Hopkins University.
