Pianist Orli Shaham has launched “Baby Got Bach: Classical Kids at LPR,” a new concert series set to take place on five Sundays at Le Poisson Rouge, the eclectic Manhattan nightclub. The daytime series is aimed at preschoolers, who will get hands-on experience with musical instruments and listen to live chamber music performances; snacks and drinks will be available for purchase. “Baby Got Bach” launches on November 21 and continues monthly through March 2011. In addition to her career as a concert pianist, Shaham is also mother to three-year-old twins and teenage stepsons Nathan and Alex. She is married to Saint Louis Symphony Orchestra Music Director David Robertson.
