The Foundation Center has started GrantSpace, a new site to help nonprofit organizations quickly obtain information on financing operations, getting grants, and operating effectively. The new site—details of which were covered at Philanthropy.com http://philanthropy.com/blogs/prospecting/new-tools-available-to-grant-seekers/27475—include live-chat service with Foundation Center staff members; job listings; new grant opportunities; sample documents; published reports; and multimedia resources. Cynthia Bailie, director of the Foundation Center’s Cleveland office and of special information initiatives, said they created the new site to be a “one-stop shop for grant seekers worldwide to get information they need.” Bailie said the Foundation Center’s own site had grant content “segmented in a way that made it more time-consuming for someone who’s really busy.”
