The Southwest Florida Symphony, based in Fort Myers, has announced the election of CHRISTINE LA CROIX as president of the Board of Trustees for 2010-11. A resident of Cape Coral, she worked in public and private schools in Illinois prior to relocating to Florida, and was serving as a high school principal at the time of her retirement in 2005. During the 2006-07 season La Croix was president of the SFS’s volunteer group, the Symphony Society.
