The winners of the Young Concert Artists International Auditions are eighteen-year-old Russian clarinetist Narek Arutyunyan, 20-year-old American violinist Benjamin Beilman, and 15-year-old American pianist George Li. The three winners, chosen from a group of twelve semifinalists, were announced following the final round of auditions, held at the 92nd Street Y in New York City on November 6.  Arutyunyan, Beilman, and Li will each be presented in a debut recital in the 2011-12 Young concert Artists Series in New York, Washington, D.C., and Boston, and will join the roster of YCA, which arranges concert engagements, promotion, and career development. Arutyunyan, who won the 2008 International Young Musicians Competition in Prague, is currently a student of Charles Neidich at Queens College. Beilman won first prize of the 2010 Montréal International Violin Competition and the 2009 Corpus Christi Competition and the Astral Artists Auditions; he was featured in Symphony magazine in January-February 2010. Li is a student at the Walnut Hill School (Newton, Mass.) and the Preparatory Division of the New England Conservatory, where he studies with Wha Kyung Byun.
