Utah Symphony | Utah Opera has announced the appointment of HILARIE ASHTON as public relations manager, effective December 27. Her background includes an internship with the USUO Marketing Department from May to December 2009 and experience as an arts and entertainment reporter at Brigham Young University’s Daily Universe, where she was named “best overall reporter” in 2009. Ashton also interned with the Communications Department of BYU’s Fine Arts Museum, and earlier this year was a team agent in communications for the U.S. Census Bureau.
