The Cape Cod Symphony and Conservatory of Music & Arts (Barnstable, Mass.) has announced the appointment of STEPHANIE WEAVER as managing director of Cape Cod Conservatory of Music & Arts, which merged with the Cape Cod Symphony Orchestra last September. Weaver recently completed eight years as executive director of the Ann Arbor (Mich.) School for the Performing Arts. She has also served on the faculties of Michigan State University, the University of Michigan, Grand Valley State University, and Concordia University. A concert pianist, Weaver holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in piano performance and literature from the University of Western Ontario and a doctoral degree in piano performance and literature from Michigan State University.
