After receiving an enormous amount of positive feedback about the League’s publication Fearless Journeys: Innovation in Five American Orchestras, we thought it would be interesting to further explore some of the themes in the book through a series of audio interviews with the five participating orchestras. In the coming weeks, we will highlight each of the interviews and the topics discussed.

This week: Pacific Symphony members Carl St.Clair, music director; John Forsyte, president; Eileen Jeannette, director of artistic and orchestra operations; and Joseph Horowitz, artistic advisor to the orchestra explore contextual programming, making connections, Los Sonidos de Mexico, and more.
