RICHARD ROSENBERG has been named artistic director of the National Music Festival, a two-week classical festival set to debut in Floyd, Va., this spring. He will also serve as artistic director of The Phanos Project, a new nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting and performing the music of Cypriot composer Phanos Dymiotis. Both the NMF and Phanos are sponsored by the Floyd, Va.-based organization OuterArts Inc. Also announced by OuterArts was the appointment of CAITLIN PATTON as executive director. Patton has served as executive director of the Mid-Atlantic Symphony Orchestra, and her background also includes positions at Tanglewood Music Center and Spoleto Festival USA. She holds a Master of Public Administration degree, with a focus in arts and nonprofit administration, from the College of Charleston. Patton received a bachelor’s degree in music from Washington College.
