SCOTT O’NEIL has been promoted to resident conductor at the Denver-based Colorado Symphony, and his contract with that orchestra renewed through the 2012-13 season. O’Neil was previously the orchestra’s associate conductor, a post he assumed in September 2006. In addition to leading performances throughout the season, in his expanded role as resident conductor he will focus on artistic leadership in programming, with particular emphasis on the orchestra’s new “Inside the Score” series.
