THOMAS WILKINS has signed a three-year renewal of his contract as music director of the Omaha Symphony in Nebraska. He has led the orchestra since 2005, the year it took up residence in the new Holland Performing Arts Center, and the new contract extends his tenure through the 2014-15 season. In addition to the Omaha post he serves as principal guest conductor of the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra. Wilkins and his wife, Sheri-Lee, reside in Omaha with their twin daughters.
