The Amarillo Symphony in Texas has announced the appointment of SUSAN WHITE as executive director. She joined the orchestra as director of operations in 2005 and had been serving as acting executive director since July 1, 2010. Prior to Amarillo she worked at the Dubuque (Iowa) Symphony Orchestra as its first director of education. White is a native of Clinton, Iowa, and a graduate of Loras College in Dubuque.
