This week, a “Living St. Louis” segment St. Louis’s PBS Channel 9 network honors the Saint Louis Symphony Youth Orchestra’s 40th anniversary. The 27-minute piece, narrated by Ruth Ezell and featuring interviews with Youth Orchestra Music Director Ward Stare, Concertmaster Jecoliah Wang, Saint Louis Symphony Concertmaster David Halen, Youth Orchestra Double Bassist Caleb Small, Violinist Jasmine Scott, Cellist Grant Riew, Horn player Shelby Nugent, and alumna Felicia Foland, who now plays bassoon with the Saint Louis Symphony, can be viewed here.
