The Rochester Symphony Orchestra & Chorale in southeastern Minnesota has appointed JEFFERY AMUNDSON executive director. A Rochester native, he served most recently as director of development at the History Center of Olmsted County, also based in Rochester, and is an adjunct faculty member at Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota, Rochester Center. He holds a bachelor’s degree in public administration and criminal justice and a master’s in philanthropy and development, both from Saint Mary’s. Amundson has served as a board member and volunteer with the RSOC, as well as its stage manager. His civic involvement includes memberships in the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Southeast Minnesota Chapter; the Rotary Club of Rochester; the Rochester Elks Lodge; and the Knights of Columbus.
