The Boston Symphony Orchestra has announced the appointment of CLINT FOREMAN as second flute, effective with the 2011-12 season. Currently a member of the New World Symphony in Miami Beach, Foreman has performed as a substitute musician with the Houston and Austin symphony orchestras, Houston Grand Opera, Houston Ballet, and Florida Grand Opera. He holds a master’s degree from Manhattan School of Music and a bachelor’s in both music and music education from the University of North Texas. Also announced by the BSO were two musician appointments dating from the start of the 2010-11 season: STEPHEN LANGE, second trombone, and MICHAEL MARTIN, fourth/utility trumpet.
