The Calgary (Alberta) Philharmonic Orchestra has announced the retirement of Concertmaster CENEK VRBA following a 36-tenure tenure. The Czech-born violinist joined the orchestra in 1975. He has worked with five music directors, recorded numerous CDs with the CPO both as an orchestra member and as soloist, and has performed with the orchestra on stages throughout North America and Europe.
