Artistic: Utah Symphony

The Utah Symphony has appointed VLADIMIR KULENOVIC assistant conductor, effective September 1, 2011. His term is for an initial two seasons with an option for a third. A graduate of the master’s degree program at Boston Conservatory with an additional graduate diploma in conducting from the Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University, he served as cover conductor at the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra in the 2008-09 season. Following completion of a master’s program at The Juilliard School, Kulenovic hopes to arrive in Salt Lake City in July of this year to observe the Utah Symphony’s 2011 summer rehearsals and concerts.
