South Carolina’s Greenville Symphony Association has appointed WILLIAM (“Bill”) T. JOHNSON as executive director, effective June 20. He has recently been serving as interim executive director of the Upcountry History Museum in Greenville, and was previously a partner with Tatum LLC, an Atlanta-based firm that provides executive managers for companies in transition. The majority of his career was spent with W.R. Grace & Co., where he held a series of executive positions and was ultimately CFO of a Grace subsidiary in Greenville. A certified public accountant, Johnson holds an MBA from Rutgers University and a bachelor’s in music education from Fairleigh Dickinson University. He was a music teacher before embarking on his business career.
