There is still time to ensure that your orchestra’s 2011-12 world, Canadian, or U.S. premieres are listed in Symphony’s annual survey—but hurry! The new deadline to submit information for the premieres listing is Monday, August 1, 2011. This listing is an important demonstration of our field’s artistic vitality, so make sure your orchestra is included!
In the fall, we will spotlight premieres planned across the country between September 1, 2011 and August 31, 2012, and will direct readers to a complete listing of performances on the League’s website, www.americanorchestras.org. Searchable by composer and orchestra name, this invaluable resource will be accessible all season long to anyone with Web access.
To submit your premieres, click here and fill out the survey. If you have more than three premieres, please fill out an additional survey (or however many you need), beginning each time with your name and orchestra.
