Arizona Musicfest, headquartered in Carefree, Ariz., has appointed JAY GOOD director of operations, and has promoted JO ELLEN McCALL from assistant managing director to director of administration. Good comes to the festival from The Phoenix Symphony, where he had served as general manager since 2006. Prior to that he was operations manager of the New York Philharmonic, and his background includes administrative posts with the American Symphony Orchestra, the American Russian Young Artists Orchestra, and the Roanoke (Va.) Symphony Orchestra. Good has also served as principal cellist in the New Amsterdam Symphony Orchestra and as associate principal cellist in the Park Avenue Chamber Society, both in New York City.
