This summer the Boston Symphony Orchestra is conducting a photo contest for amateur photographers, with prizes being given for the best photo taken of the orchestra’s summer home at Tanglewood, in Lenox, Massachusetts. To be considered for first prize, contest photos must be submitted to the orchestra’s Flickr website by August 25 at 11 p.m.; submissions for second prize must be submitted by September 12. The first-prize winner will receive a pair of tickets to the Tanglewood Wine Festival Grand Tasting and two Jazz Festival Lawn passes, both on September 3; the winning photo will be displayed in the 2012 Tanglewood 75th-anniversary season brochure.
