ZAC MOORE has been appointed education director and general manager at the Ann Arbor (Mich.) Symphony Orchestra. A native of Ann Arbor, he returns to that city after six years as general manager of the Traverse Symphony Orchestra in Traverse City, Mich. His experience also includes positions with two other musical organizations in Michigan: the Beaver Island Cultural Arts Association, where he served as managing director; and the Gaylord Chamber Orchestra, where he was executive director. Moore interned in the education and outreach departments of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra.
